Default Vegetation and Bird surveyors

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife's Vegetation Classification and Mapping Program (VegCAMP) is hiring three scientific aids. The incumbentsí primary duties will involve working on the Modoc Plateau of NE California conducting point count bird surveys, deploying and retrieving recorders of bird vocalizations, and downloading electronic data to a computer. Additional work will include conducting surveys of vegetation and habitat, making appropriate contact with landowners and land managers, and entering data. Application instructions are here:
